Dijon, with almost 250 000 inhabitants, is the historical capital of the Burgundy province located southeast of Paris. Burgundy was home to the Dukes of Burgundy between the XI-XV centuries, and Dijon was a place of tremendous wealth and power, being one of the great European centers of art, learning and science.

Nowadays, Dijon offers many cultural activities, including a variety of museums. You will also enjoy the French finest cuisine with the unrivalled Burgundy wines.

The weather is usually sunny, and temperature is around 20-27°C.

The multidisciplinary University of Burgundy with more than 27 000 students operates on six campuses. The main campus, where will be held ICCDU XI, is located in Dijon (Campus Montmuzard) just 10 min by bus from the town center.

Access to ICCDU XI from the railway station and downtown Dijon Public transportation to and from ICCDU XI is easy from downtown. Coach transportation will be arranged only on Monday, June 27, at the end of the last sessions to the Town Hall reception, on Tuesday, June 28, at the end of the Poster Party to downtown, and on Wednesday, June 29, to and from the Gala Dinner.

Special transportation will be provided for disabled attendees only on request at the Conference Secretariat (secretariat@ffc-asso.fr).

Bus n°1 and 5 (called Liane 1 and 5) run from downtown Dijon to ICCDU XI location every five minutes: duration 15 minutes, distance 4 km (click on the maps).
Bus n°5 end stop (called Campus) is in the campus, 150 m away from ICCDU XI location.
Bus n°1 stop (called Maréchal), is 200 m away from ICCDU XI location.

Dijon has the advantage of being a human-sized town. You can walk around the city center in about 30 minutes. You will never feel lost during the touristic season!

From Paris, the high speed trains (TGV) leave from the railway station "Paris Gare de Lyon" easily accessible by public transportation or Air France buses from the two main airports (Orly and Roissy Charles de Gaulle).
Attendees who are landing at Paris Roissy Charles De Gaulle Airport (CDG) may prefer direct TGVs to Dijon at Aéroport Paris Roissy Charles De Gaulle (CDG 2)-Gare TGV.
